The thymus thump is just one of many empowering techniques that I use as a Kinesiologist and although it can be done by someone who hasn’t trained in Kinesiology it does have the potential to become even more powerful when combined with muscle testing.
Quick Thymus Facts
- The thymus is your immune system’s surveillance gland.
- The word thymus comes from the Greek word ‘thymos’ which means “life energy.”
- The thymus gland lies just beneath the upper part of the breastbone in the middle of the chest (think Tarzan)
How To do It
Using all your fingertips, tap firmly in the middle of the chest (as shown in the image below.)
It is even more powerful to tap in an anti-clockwise direction in a waltz time of 1-2-3, 1-2-3, etc., as this works with the natural rhythms of the body
Do this for about 20 seconds and breathe deeply in and out.
You may know when you have activated the thymus gland as it can enduce a tingling feeling or a subtle sense of joy and well-being.
For some people it may take a little time before you ‘feel’ anything but do stick with it coz the benefits are enormous.
Do this every day if you can but do this several times a day if you are suffering from anxiety, panic attacks or stress and allow your life energy to come alive.
